What whirlwind of a year it has been. Let me take you back through a year that was filled with unexpected hurdles and some unbelievable victories.
A Warm Welcome to Our Stars
Let’s start our time journey with the introduction of our new team members who have joined Guide-ID this year. They definitely injected a fresh wave of energy that’s taken us to new heights! First we have our amazing new business managers - Farnaz and Fabien. They didn’t just join us; they parachuted right in! Their insight into the markets and additional language skills were exactly what we needed to propel our journey forward.
And then there is Maickel, our new coding Crusader from the software team. With his fingers dancing across the keyboard, he’s been helping the team to spin magic into our products. And lastly, but never least, we welcomed Emanuela and Elvira into our customer support team. Two powerhouse women wrapping our customers in a blanket of warmth and top-tier assistance. I cannot be happier with these new additions to our team.
From Soft launch to the Podcatcher Pro seminar
Let’s race forward to June the office was buzzing as we soft launched the Podcatcher Pro within Guide-ID. We were all hands-on deck, with almost everyone at the office in Deventer - trying, learning, and fine-tuning the Podcatcher Pro. That ongoing effort bore fruit in October, where we were ready to play in the big leagues! It was time to raise the curtains for the much-anticipated Podcatcher Pro with a seminar held on the historic grounds of Stadsarchief Amsterdam on November 23rd. And what a huge success that was, pulled together by the whole team! Big step for Guide-ID, huge step for cultural storytelling worldwide.

Talking about challenges, we had our fair share. The most memorable being the journey of our beloved Podcatcher to Ukraine. Not everything was easy, but we believed in turning problems into possibilities, and the result? Amazing stories being told by Ukrainian artists that bring people together and welcomes everyone to bask in the beauty of Ukrainian stories in the Pinchuk Art Centre. I hope these stories helps the local people during the hard times they are in.

That is why, as our holiday gift, we’re have decided not to send Christmas presents over the world to our customers, but to give back a little something to our globe. We will be donating a portion of our profit to
the World Wide Fund for Nature.
As we dream of a world where every museum, from every corner of the world, can share stories to their visitors in a language they understand, all while keeping it green. Now that’s an idea worth working towards, right?
