Chocolate Nation, Antwerp, Belgium

Discover the story and the love for Belgian chocolate

This winter the newest attraction of Antwerp will be Chocolate Nation. An innovative experience museum of more than 4,000 m2 that is completely dedicated to the world-famous Belgian chocolate. Chocolate Nation will be a place full of experiences and stories from chocolate brands and chocolatiers. We are excited for a new chocolate museum to join our list of chocolate experiences where stories are told through Guide ID's audio guides.

Association Hendrick de Keyser, House Van Eysinga Leeuwarden, NL

Museum houses open their doors

Association Hendrick de Keyser is committed to maintaining architecturally or historically important buildings and their interior. The Association does this by acquiring buildings, and subsequently restoring them and renting them out. A number of these buildings are accessible to the public: the Museum houses. In these houses you do not have to whisper and there are no outlet cords, you can discover the house yourself. Besides Villa Rams Woerthe (Steenwijk), Huis Bartolotti (Amsterdam) and Huis Bonck (Hoorn), visitors can also visit Leeuwarden from 30 November. You can hear the stories of these beautiful buildings through the Podcatcher!

Museum Prinsenhof Delft, NL

William of Orange is here!

From 19 October 2018 to 3 March 2019, Museum Prinsenhof Delft will put Dutch history in the spotlight with the exhibition William of Orange is here! With this exhibition, the museum presents a grand show and brings an important episode in Dutch history to life where it all took place: the ancient Prinsenhof. It was once the court of William of Orange, the Father of the Dutch Nation. With the Podcatcher audio tour, the history of this special place comes alive even more.

Zuiderzeemuseum, Enkhuizen, NL

Great together

Guide ID is happy to cooperate with the Zuiderzee Museum in the exhibition with the appropriate name 'Great together'.

The exhibition 'Great together' is the work of two photographers and a journalist. The photographers - Koos Breukel and Sander Troelstra - traveled together in recent months around the former Zuiderzee to capture their vision of community life in this region. Journalist Thijs Broer describes the sometimes very personal stories behind the (group) portraits. Why do people become members of an association and do they sometimes commit themselves for years? How do their personal stories relate to those of their association?
From November 16 till May 5 the exhibition can be visited. Do not forget to grab a Podcatcher to hear the personal stories!
